Interstate 16

I-16 is a relatively short interstate highway between Macon and Savannah, Georgia. If you combine I-16 with its merging interstates I-75 and I-95, you have one of the best routes between Atlanta and the Carolina/Georgia/Florida Atlantic coastal islands, beaches and cities.

Macon is the "Song and Soul of the South."

It's the home of the Georgia Music Hall of Fame and the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame.

Stop by every March for the Cherry Blossom Festival.

Dublin is a nice south Georgia town that's "Green and Growing.".

Everything's Better in Metter, the nicest rest stop on I-16.

This is where the Woodpecker Trail crosses I-16. If you're tired of interstate driving, the Woodpecker offers a restful trip toward Florida.

Savannah is the city of Good and Evil. You never know what to expect when you visit this famous southern city.

Savannah almost always has a festival going. Don't miss the Saint Patrick's Day fest.
